MotorEx provides a fantastic opportunity for everyone to come and see the best cars and bikes in NSW and Australia, with vehicles of interest for all ages, said Mark Kewley, Director of MotorEx Management Pty Ltd. MotorEx continues to grow each year, adding more displays for the public to enjoy. It is driven by the motoring enthusiasts who delight in sharing their passion for all things motoring with the 20,000+ people who visit the show over the weekend, added Mark.
If you are one of the thousands of Australians whose interest is in veteran, vintage, classic and performance vehicles, you will be inspired by Shannon's Classic and Performance Cars display which boasts one of the largest and finest collection assembled in NSW. This is a great opportunity to meet the people who are `Preserving the Passion' of some truly amazing and timeless vehicles. With so many individuals and clubs displaying such a diverse range of vehicles and competing to be judged the `best' in a number of categories, this is one of my favourite sections of the show, said Mark Kewley.
One of the most popular sections of the show continues to be the All American Display showcasing up to 150 spectacular American beauties inclusive of Chevrolets, Mopars, Mustangs and Thunderbirds. Special displays and activities are planned to celebrate 50 years of Thunderbird.
The Shell Optimax Motorsport Display promises to deliver for its fans displaying over 60 vehicles from Formula V through to V8 Supercars, off road rally cars and everything in between. Motorsport enthusiasts can also reminisce with the historic racing car clubs display.
The custom and modified vehicle scene honours timeless vehicles in a distinctly unique way and Meguiar's MotorEx showcases the best that this country has to offer in the House of Kolor Custom Auto Expo. In customisation there are no rules, judge for yourself as 150 of the state's best Hot Rods, Street Machines and Muscle Cars compete in the NSW Hot Rod State Titles and Australia's top Hot Rods and Street Machines from across all states descend on the Showground to battle it out in the Meguiar's Superstars national finals. Also not to be missed are the modified vans and utes in the Street and Custom Van Display and Street and Custom Ute Display.
Taking vehicle customisation to a new level and building on its success and popularity in 2004, the House of Kolor Inauguration promises to be even more diverse and equally spectacular this year. Be the first to witness Australia's next generation of blockbuster cars and motorcycles specially built to be ready for the show. Up to eight custom vehicles, valued in excess of $1.5 million will be revealed for the first time at 11am on Saturday 2nd July.
The Custom Motorcycle and Harley Display offers visitors a magnificent collection of up to 100 early veteran through to modern Harley Davidson bikes plus some of the most exotic custom motorcycles and Harley Davidson all competing for a number of awards including the new Meguiar's Superstar Motorcycle title.
One of the busiest sections of the show will be the centre stage which promises to be alive with constant talks, demonstrations, seminars on everything to do with motoring, and loads of other entertainment.
AirBrush Adrenalin presented by ANEST Iwata House of Kolor is a unique Australian airbrush competition. The showcasing of competition entries from Australia's leading airbrush artists will transform MotorEx's foyer into an amazing and highly creative art exhibition.
